McAfee reported that 26 percent of the application is more than just 'adware'. The study findings suggest that SMS fraud is one of the most popular types.
McAfee's study shows that consumers often ignore the problem of protecting their privacy when downloading apps. Most of the users are the reason they did not clearly understand the level of damage done by giving permission to the application.
