Do not use Internet Explorer even though the software is more secure than others. The reason is, a malicious malware attack reportedly plagued the internet browser.
As reported by the Huffington Post (14/2), it was reported in the aftermath of a major attack on IE users in the United States. Some great sites for U.S. military veterans mentioned so the victim.
According to a report from FireEye, this attack happened on this week in Internet Explorer 10. The victim estimated at hundreds to thousands of sites and most are owned U.S. war fighters.
The malware itself embed backdoor in the machine in Internet Explorer and steal important data users. The target is expected to gather military intelligence.
Microsoft is aware of this attack has occurred. Microsoft said amid an investigation and take the best steps to overcome them.
It is recommended for those who use IE to immediately upgrade to version 11. This is because the version can not be compromised by the malicious hackers.
